Farewell Fair Charleston

A new scratching post is appreciated.

Charleston is still green in November!

It's difficult to leave such a beautiful place, but the open water calls.  After waiting for the effects of Ida to pass, Symmetry is off tomorrow for Beaufort, South Carolina.  Apparently this is also a lovely Southern town.  We had our share of good meals,  shopping, art galleries, and general wandering.  Projects got done during the rain periods (you didn't think being on a boat would stop Larry, did you?) and good books were read.   Other boaters were met and a good birthday was had by you know who.  Although   the time has come to say farewell, Charleston remains one of our favorite towns and we will always look forward to our stays here.  She is what one envisions when one hears the term "charming southern town".   The 19th century homes with iron grillwork and balconies covered with flowering vines, the cobblestone streets, the beautiful live oak trees bespeak a town which ages gracefully.   Don't know when we'll have internet again--so adios for now.
